We are launching a brand new Visiting Angels franchise and are looking for an exceptional Registered Care Manager to help us build something truly special from the ground up. This is not a role where you step into an established service and simply maintain it. This is a genuine opportunity to shape the culture, set the standards, and create a care business that truly puts both carers and clients first. At Visiting Angels, we believe outstanding care starts with how we treat our carers. When people feel valued, supported and respected, the quality of care naturally follows. That belief sits at the heart of everything we do.
About the role:
- You will have full operational and regulatory responsibility for the service, including:
- Leading the CQC registration process and maintaining ongoing compliance.
- Building, developing and retaining a high-quality care team.
- Ensuring excellence in care delivery, safeguarding and governance.
- Driving strong operational standards and consistency.
- Creating a positive, supportive and professional culture for carers.
- Supporting sustainable growth within a private-pay focused service.
This role offers real autonomy, influence, and the chance to build a service properly, with the backing of owners who understand regulated environments, governance and the importance of strong leadership.
What we are looking for:
- A current Registered Care Manager or an experienced Deputy Care Manager ready to step up.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role within domiciliary care.
- A recognised qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, or working towards it).
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and domiciliary care operations.
- A natural leader who genuinely cares about people, quality and standards.
- Someone who wants ownership, influence and the opportunity to build something meaningful.
- A professional who takes pride in running a safe, compliant and high-quality service.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary, aligned to experience.
- Discretionary performance-related bonus linked to quality, compliance and service growth.
- The opportunity to build a service from day one.
- Supportive ownership that understands compliance, governance and operational excellence.
- A genuine carer-first culture that is lived, not just spoken about.
- The chance to create a service and a team you can be truly proud of.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of something at its very beginning. If you want to leave a legacy, build a team that enjoys coming to work, and run a service that stands out for all the right reasons, we would love to hear from you. Apply now and let’s start the conversation.
