About us:

Visiting Angels has been providing high-quality, unrushed care across the world for 20 years. With over 700 offices worldwide, Visiting Angels Renfrewshire and Inverclyde have launched a new office in the Renfrewshire area. Each office is a family-run business looking to bring outstanding care to our clients, and with our carer-centric approach, ensure that our ‘Angels’ feel valued, loved, and most of all rewarded for their hard work and dedication.

We redefine the role of carers in society and by doing so deliver a new standard of person-centred care. Because we believe that our caregivers are at the centre of our business, we continually invest in their skills, development, and well-being. Taking a carer-centric approach means that our caregivers feel valued and content, and want to stay with us. This creates an environment where our caregivers can take the time to develop a relationship with our clients, making sure we deliver on our promise of supporting independent living.

Our minimum one-hour visits enable caregivers to spend more time with our clients. This means they can provide an exceptional home care experience, not rushed, but taking the time they need to really care.

About you:

You will be a genuinely caring person with great listening skills, outstanding empathy, a loving personality, and the drive to make a difference in our clients’ lives. You will undertake personality profiling to better match you with the perfect clients. We know that we can never replace a family bond, but we want you to approach care as if it’s for a family member because this is what you would want for your loved ones.

As a carer, you will be visiting our clients in their homes, supporting them with everyday tasks so they can continue to live independently whilst enriching their lives in the comfort of their own homes. You must be a car driver with a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, be over 18, and live or have the right to work in the UK. We would love to talk to you even if you have never worked in care because we realize your skills are transferable. We also know that if you have care experience, you will appreciate the difference it makes when we put you at the heart of everything we do. Because you really do matter to us.
