About the role:
A caregiver at Visiting Angels North Shropshire requires to be a compassionate and friendly person who has very strong communication skills. The successful candidate’s duties will include:
- Personal care, helping them to get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
- Assist them with dressing/undressing.
- Assisting with incontinent tasks.
- Preparing fresh meals and snacks.
- Helping with laundry or light housework.
- Supporting our clients to access the community for appointments, community groups and outings.
- Companionship and socialising.
- Pet care if needed.
- To be an outstanding team player.
