Job Description
Location: 75B Sydenham Road
Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives, one visit at a time?
Visiting Angels Northern Ireland is growing, and we're looking for an exceptional Care Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a role for someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and genuinely cares about getting the right support to the right person, every single day.
At Visiting Angels NI, our Care Co-ordinators are the glue that holds great care together, matching Caregivers to Clients, keeping rotas running smoothly, and making sure no one is ever left without the support they need. That starts with great coordination, and that's where you come in.
About The Role
You will play a central part in ensuring the continuity and quality of care across our client base, making sure every visit is covered by the right Caregiver. Working closely with the Registered Manager and wider team, you will:
- Develop and review Client care plans, adjusting them as needs and circumstances change
- Match Caregivers with the right skills and experience to each Client's care and support plan
- Complete and distribute Caregiver rotas on a weekly basis, keeping runs and working patterns efficient and logical
- Manage late and missed calls, and arrange cover for Caregiver sickness, absence or holidays
- Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota, responding effectively to emergency issues as they arise
- Liaise with Clients and their representatives about their care, taking account of different communication needs
- Support and supervise Caregivers, including induction, shadowing opportunities and ongoing training
- Maintain accurate electronic and hand-written records, and ensure MAR charts are audited in line with our Quality Monitoring procedure
- Ensure full compliance with RQIA standards, safeguarding procedures, and Visiting Angels NI policies
