Visiting Angels Northern Ireland is looking for an experienced Care Manager to join our Belfast-based team. We're expanding our operations and growing our team, and this role sits right at the heart of how we deliver care leading our Caregivers team, working closely with our Registered Manager, and making sure every client receives the safe, person-centred care they deserve. This is a genuine leadership role and a great opportunity to grow with us as we expand.
You'll manage your own caseload of clients and staff, make day-to-day decisions, and help shape how care is delivered on the ground backed by a supportive management team who'll invest in your development.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee care delivery across your caseload conducting spot checks, supervising and supporting Senior Caregivers and Caregivers, reviewing and auditing care plans and risk assessments, and visiting clients monthly to ensure their care is still right for them.
- Be the first point of contact when something needs attention, whether that's a client's changing needs, a staff performance issue, or a safeguarding concern, with full support from the Registered Manager.
- Play a key role in inducting and developing new staff, handling complaints with openness and care, and helping us keep improving how we work.
- Participate in the on-call rota and occasional evening/weekend work.
- Minimum 2 years' management or supervisory experience in any health and social care setting.
- Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Working knowledge of RQIA standards and NISCC code of conduct.
- Willingness to register with NISCC (or already registered).
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced Access NI check.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
