The Role

You will play a central part in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently across our client base. Working closely with the Registered Manager and care team, you will:

  • Supervise, mentor and support our caregivers through regular observations, competency assessments and 1:1 supervision
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and create outcome-led, person-centred care plans and risk assessments
  • Carry out regular client courtesy calls and respond meaningfully to feedback
  • Support new caregivers in the field through induction and ongoing training
  • Act as a key point of contact between clients, families, caregivers and management
  • Ensure full compliance with RQIA standards, safeguarding procedures, and Visiting Angels NI policies
  • Participate in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota on a rotational basis
  • Escalate concerns promptly and support a culture of continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a domiciliary or community care setting
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or actively working towards it)
  • Registered with NISCC or eligible to register upon appointment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Strong knowledge of person-centred care planning and risk assessment
  • Confident communicator with genuine compassion and leadership presence
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management in Adult Care
  • Previous supervisory or field care supervisor experience
  • Familiarity with digital care management platforms
  • Experience working to RQIA regulatory standards
