We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Manager to lead the service, oversee daily operations, and support continued growth.
The Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the domiciliary care business, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality care delivery. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, compliance expertise, and the confidence to represent Visiting Angels Lincolnshire within the community.
You will play a key role in client onboarding, staff recruitment, compliance management, and brand development.
Key Responsibilities
Care Delivery & Client Management
- Demonstrate first‑hand experience of working in domiciliary care, with a strong understanding of client needs
- Onboard new clients, carry out initial and ongoing assessments, and design high‑quality, person‑centred care plans
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and their families
- Manage client reviews, follow‑ups, and ongoing care adjustments
Community Engagement & Business Growth
- Build and maintain professional relationships with health and social care teams, GP practices, hospital discharge teams, pharmacies, and community partners
- Actively engage in the local community to promote Visiting Angels Lincolnshire
- Be confident and proactive in meeting people, networking, and representing the Visiting Angels brand
Operational & Business Management
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the business
- Handle enquiries via phone, email, website, and referral sources
- Convert enquiries and assessments into care packages
- Carry out client follow‑up calls, courtesy calls, and visits
Recruitment, Training & Workforce Management
- Advertise, recruit, and onboard care staff in line with business requirements
- Conduct screening, interviews, pre‑employment checks, and documentation
- Oversee training, shadowing, induction, and onboarding of new staff
- Carry out spot checks, competency assessments, and provide structured feedback
- Support staff development and performance management
Compliance, Governance & Reporting
- Ensure all documentation, systems, and processes are fully CQC compliant
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in line with care standards and legislation
- Produce detailed reports for senior management
- Carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual internal audits of care delivery and compliance
- Maintain strong working knowledge of care standards, CQC regulations, and legislation
About You
- Experience as a Registered Care Manager or Deputy Care Manager in a domiciliary / home care setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, care standards, and compliance requirements
- Confident leader with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy operational environment
- Proactive, professional, and relationship‑focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Train the Trainer qualification
- Previous experience registered with CQC as a Registered Manager or Nominated Individual
- Experience supporting service growth, community engagement, or business development
