The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.
Part time – 97.5 hours a month - Permanent Role. Hybrid role – must be able to travel within South Devon as needed and meet on a quarterly basis for team away days in South Devon.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development of destination websites for visitors.
- Help ensure all data for the websites are up to date.
- Research events in South Devon and update the websites on a regular basis.
- Research content for use on the websites and where necessary write content in accordance with best SEO practices, including blog posts, itineraries and website copy.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in their day to day role.
Marketing & Social Media
- Assist in the production and distribution of consumer and business e-newsletters on a regular basis using email marketing services such as Mailchimp, Sender.net and Brevo.
- Develop and monitor the growth of social media platforms and their interaction – namely Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & Pinterest.
- Work on the social media content plan and help deliver content across all channels.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with the arrangement of press visits and itineraries.
- Support the Marketing Manager with the management of online market research.
- Support the Marketing Manager in the development of online and offline marketing materials as required.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with the management of consumer and member events.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in other activities which require the support of the team.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketing qualification or relevant experience.
- Excellent writing and proof reading skills.
- Good understanding of the online marketing industry.
- Good understanding of social media and how best to use it for business and communicating with key audiences.
- Confident communicator.
- Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively.
- Creative.
- Self‑motivated and able to work alone.
- Experience and knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience in managing and updating websites – using a CMS system and/or WordPress.
- Experience in copy writing.
- Videography/photography using a phone.
