This is a fantastic opportunity for hands on, Hotel Manager who can lead a small team from the front in a business where the focus is 100% on looking after your guests.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location and provides bed, breakfast and evening meals to it’s guests in the Keswick area. They also have a warm and inviting bar and the ethos of the business is to offer guests a friendly, welcoming and comfortable stay in a quality establishment.

Reservations, marketing and accounts are looked after off site which means you can focus fully on the customers and your team.

Your new job:
Managing a small team (upto 12 staff).
Manage housekeeping, front desk, food and beverage, and maintenance.
Meet and greet customers, deal with complaints (and compliments!), and ensure guests have a positive experience.
Recruit, train, and motivate staff, and plan work schedules.
Get hands-on when neccessary (serving guests, housekeeping etc).
Creating repeat customers
Retaining and developing team members
Maintaining the quality of the physical product
Maintaining the health and safety aspects of the site
Developing average spends in food and drink service

About you:
Previous hotel management experience or deputy looking to step up.
Hands-on management style.
Great at managing, motivating and developing staff.
Passionate about customer service.

Salary and benefits:
Starting salary of £36,000 (Live-in) to £42,000 (Live-out) plus bonus
Permanent staff position.
28 days holidays per year.
Statutory pension.
