Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant Cellular Pathologist with special interest in GI pathology, located at one of London’s teaching hospitals.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual. Candidates wishing to work less than full time are also invited to apply.
You will be required to report mainly on GI biopsies with some reporting on benign GI resections. There is no requirement for MDT cover or known cancer resections. Ability to join weekly consensus meeting for difficult cases.
The GI pathology service functions as a fully integrated unit with all members contributing to a team-based approach.
The post holder will have the following:
- The right to work in the UK
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be in the process of registering for a licence to practice
- Ideally be on the Specialist Register
- Experience in GI pathology reporting
