1st Line IT Support and Provisioning Engineer (JML)
Reports To: Head of Product Development and Architecture
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: London, UK

Job Spec: Visionist Consulting transforms digital platforms for government. Onsite at Visionist\’s clients BEIS and DIT.
Description Of Role: BEIS and DIT have over 10,500 users. The JML team handles onboarding, account transfer, asset assignment, and hardware management for up to 570 new starters per month. The team also manages fast‑streamers and Work Experience schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- User Account Creation – basic and Ministerial accounts in Active Directory with correct group membership.
- Asset Management – use ServiceNow to assign equipment and status, complying with government standards.
- Pre‑Stage Configuration – load profiles on laptops with Zscaler, Okta, Teams, and other required applications.
- Deployment – classroom and remote deployment to groups and individuals.
- Reporting – volumes, SLAs of new starters monthly; provide ServiceNow SLA reporting.
Skills And Experience
- Active Directory experience in account creation and group membership.
- Knowledge of Zscaler and Okta.
- O365 experience with licensing and configuration.
- Experience presenting to groups of up to 25 people.
- Training experience is an advantage.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
- Experience with ServiceNow (Request Management).
- Experience working in demanding environments and under pressure to deliver.
- Must be smart, presentable and comfortable interacting with Senior Executives and VIPs, including Government Ministers.
Security Clearance: Required to work with our clients.
