VisionFR is looking for a detail-driven, commercially minded procurement specialist to join a team and support their work with some of the world’s biggest brands. This role is a hands-on position focused on data, contracts, and commercials.
You’ll work closely with the marketing consultants and data team to analyse large datasets, review and compare agency proposals and ecosystems, and ensure our clients have clear, accurate, and actionable commercial insights.
This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in an agency finance or commercial operations role (not accounting) with exposure to client commercials, contracts, and fee negotiations — looking to step into a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing contracts, fee structures, and commercial frameworks to identify opportunities, risks, and improvements.
- Analysing large datasets to compare agency fees, staffing plans, deliverables, and performance — often using Excel pivot tables and other data tools.
- Supporting procurement workstreams as part of broader strategic projects.
- Working with our proprietary tech tools to capture and analyse agency performance, delivery costs, and market benchmarks.
- Preparing clear, well-structured reports and presentations for our consultants to use with clients.
About the Procurement Work
- Around 25% of the business is procurement-focused.
- Projects range from standalone procurement engagements to being part of wider marketing transformation programmes.
- Our clients are global household brands, so experience with large, international organisations is an advantage.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong data analysis skills — confident with Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and large datasets).
- Detail-oriented, organised, and thorough in reviewing commercial and contractual information.
- Understanding of the marketing procurement and agency ecosystem .
- Familiarity with contracts, fee models, and malus/bonus frameworks.
- Comfortable working with technology tools to manage and compare data.
- Collaborative, proactive, and ambitious — but happy being the “detail person” rather than front-of-room presenter.
Benefits
- £2K annual personal development fund (can be used for training, language courses, travel, memberships, or remote working abroad)
- Pension matched at 7%
