VisionFR is working on an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a highly motivated and dynamic team in a long-standing and expanding creative technology company. This position is a great opportunity to join a vibrant company and to develop your career.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Management Accountant
- Management Accounts & Cashflow
- Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Complete Intercompany recharges and reconciliation (salaries & overheads)
- P&L preparation (except revenue)
- Invoice factoring liaison, loading invoices and verification
- Weekly cashflow reconciliation
- Oversee bank account balance & CC monitoring
- Autonomously Run Accounts Receivable
- Raise invoices across both the UK and Dubai offices.
- Setup clients on accounts systems and ensure all invoicing details are in place
- Upload onto client portal to ensure that all internal processes can function efficiently.
- A/R Credit Control
- Request invoices to be raised in a timely manner, liaising with the Head of Production, Head of Technical, and other key project stakeholders across the team
- Sending statements to clients, calling to ensure that they have all relevant paperwork and processes in place.
- Accounts Payable
- Setup and ensure effective maintenance of payroll processes across London and Dubai staff
- Setting up supplier payments as necessary for Dubai and London, with approval from the Financial Controller.
- Responding to supplier queries.
- Ensuring that there are POs for all relevant payments.
- Manage Accounts Assistant
- Pleo: Tidy, retrain remote/outsourced staff, and monitor if credit is needed and expenses are being paid.
- Check Bank Reconciliations and answer queries on these for both the London and Dubai offices.
- Check and finalise CC balances on an ongoing basis.
- Expenses
- Approve Expenses input by staff across the agency.
Skills and Requirements of the Management Accountant
- Part qualified professional accounting qualification (e.g., AAT ACCA) but can be qualified by experience.
- 5 years of experience in accounting roles, particularly managing Management Accounts, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and GAAP.
- Proficient with the use of organisation communications systems – Microsoft Teams and Box
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Open to constructive criticism/feedback.
