VisionFR is excited to be acting on behalf of a rapidly growing media & creative agency to find a HR Advisor/ Manager who will take a lead role on the business's Learning & Development programme and Talent Management. Ensuring that both the Culture is put to the forefront and is responsible for fostering and enhancing the agency culture of learning and development and cultivating an inclusive, engaging and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Development
    • You will set up induction and onboarding training to gear all new starters up for success.
    • You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging learning experiences including workshops and training sessions for all of the Agencies Employees and founders.
    • You will need to source and manage external learning partners, platforms, and resources - including Universities, IPA and other trade bodies, plus e-learning systems.
    • You’ll be responsible for managing and developing the agency’s annual performance management on the HR system "HiBob" ensuring the process aligns with the team’s objectives.
    • Develop the agency’s competency framework to ensure the employees have the ability to self-manage their own career development plans.
  • Talent Management
    • The HR Advisor/ Manager will partner with hiring managers within the Agency to understand their team’s needs and define talent requirements as they grow.
    • Design new role profile templates with team leads - existing and new.
    • The go-to person for hiring advice.
    • Together with the HR assistant you will build and maintain a strong pipeline of diverse, high-quality candidates through networking, outreach, and partnerships.
  • Business Partnering
    • You will partner with your peers at junior and middle manager level to ensure their day-to-day HR needs are met.
    • Along with these peers you will act to guide them in fostering a positive employee experience.
    • You will ensure effective communication between the senior management teams and those you are working side by side with.
    • You will partner with agency directors and team leads to create training collateral and opportunities tailored to team needs.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement
    • Culture is everything within the Agency and the HR Advisor/ Manager has the responsibility of championing a culture of inclusion and belonging throughout the agency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to actively improve employee engagement and satisfaction, such strategies are to be measured by surveys and focus groups on an ongoing basis.

Key Experience and Skills of the HR Advisor/ Manager

  • Proven ability to design and implement impactful learning programmes.
  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, people development and HR within a creative, media, or advertising agency.
  • Good understanding of employee engagement frameworks and HR best practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills throughout the agency.
  • Data-driven mindset with demonstrable experience of analysing and presenting employee experience metrics.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Understanding of using e-learning systems & ideally experience of writing them.
  • Level 5 CIPD or above.
