Vision FR is working with a rapidly growing “Buy and Build” Creative Agency which is PE-backed and operates very much with global brands in the Tech sector. The group offers great services that they are internally developing and adding to via acquisition. This role will suit a delivery-focused finance leader who thrives on the “applied” side of the business. You enjoy the challenge of bringing order to the complexity of a creative, project-based organisation – ensuring a robust and data-led finance infrastructure. The group role will work closely with the CFO and be supported by the Group Reporting & Commercial FCs. The Group operates in many territories including Australia, US and EU. High growth is forecast for the coming year on the back of a 30%+ growth last year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Group Finance Team, including month-end, year-end and statutory reporting across the global group.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the overall group reporting & consolidation, including KPIs.
  • Manage cross-border relationships including transfer pricing and forex exposure.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the PE investors ensuring all reporting is accurate and on time.
  • Review commercial contracts and ensure correct resource allocations are in place, ensuring the group is compliant with the client contract terms.
  • Lead integration of new acquisitions, alignment of reporting standards & KPIs, and migrating systems.
  • Business partner with the SLT in all group companies; support the agency SLT/account management on pitch proposals.
  • Ability to support and drive the GP – have an overview on all Clients.
  • Ensure that all budget & forecasts, and business models are accurate to allow informed decisions to be made.
  • Guide and support the team on annual audits.
  • Support on acquisitions, deal making and strategic modelling for the entities and group.
  • Support with external relationships such as Banks/Insurance.
  • Drive for efficiency and automation throughout the group.
  • Strong mentor to the team.

Skills & Experience:

  • ACA Qualified (or equivalent) with 10+ years PQE.
  • 5 years in a finance leadership role ideally with time spent within a PE-backed business.
  • Sector Expertise: Direct experience in a Mid-to-Large Marketing Services or Creative agency.
  • Systems & Integration: Proven track record of successfully integrating international entities and managing multi-currency consolidations.
  • Global Fluency: Comfortable navigating the financial nuances of the UK, US, EU, and APAC markets.
  • Project Revenue Specialist: Deep understanding of WIP, revenue recognition, and forecasting within a professional services/creative environment.
  • Commercial Rigor: Ability to present at the Board level with clarity and candour, acting as a trusted deputy to the Group CFO.
  • Resilience: Comfortable in a "rolling up sleeves" environment where the pace of change is constant.
