Vision FR is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded independent creative agency in the search for a 12-month maternity cover Finance Business Partner/Assistant Management Accountant.

Supporting the Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in the smooth running of the day-to-day finance function within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This opportunity would suit someone who is organised, confident in communicating across teams and comfortable managing a varied workload within a busy agency setting.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner / Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Process Credit card costs
  • Ensure supplier costs and invoices are processed in line with monthly reporting deadlines
  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
  • Process monthly journals, reconciliations and overhead analysis to support accurate and timely month-end reporting
  • Manage payment runs and supplier communications, ensuring queries are resolved professionally and efficiently
  • Prepare management Accounts, reporting and commentary for associated entities, monthly analysis
  • Support wider commercial decision-making through ad hoc reporting and financial insight
  • Support the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end processes for the main entity
  • Oversee the finances of smaller associated entities, Billing, purchase ledger, cash
