Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior/Lead/Architect specializing in Appian development. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and architecting Appian-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable, efficient, and robust solutions on the Appian platform.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of Appian applications, ensuring alignment with both business needs and technical specifications.
Define and maintain the architecture of Appian solutions, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate these into effective technical specifications and solution designs.
Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of Appian applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance during the implementation phase, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Monitor and optimize application performance, implementing improvements and enhancements as necessary.
Serve as a subject matter expert, offering insights on Appian best practices and staying current with the latest features and industry trends.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Work closely with project managers and business analysts to align technical solutions with project goals and timelines.
Skills Required:
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7 to 15 years of experience in Appian development and architecture.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing Appian applications, including understanding Appians BPM, Case Management, and low-code development capabilities.
Strong knowledge of Appian best practices, performance tuning, and security measures.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is advantageous.
Appian Certified Senior Developer or Architect is preferred.
Experience with integrating Appian with other systems and technologies, such as Java and SQL, is a plus.
