Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and availability of electrical systems up to 66k V, including substations and high voltage installations.
- Oversee installation, repair, maintenance, operation, inspection, and testing of electrical systems, including transformers, UPS, and motor control centers.
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project start-up and routine operations.
- Design, program, and modify control systems, ensuring all processes conform to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to stay updated on compliance regulations and environmental programs.
- Provide technical assistance and expertise for electrical and instrumentation maintenance and changes.
- Facilitate training sessions for the maintenance team focused on electrical safety practices.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving measures and improvements to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
- Prepare cost estimates and offer engineering support for electrical, automation, and instrumentation projects.
- Assume on‑call engineering duties for electrical issues as scheduled.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Controls, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and environmental responsibilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Capability to interpret technical drawings such as P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Willingness to undertake internal and external training, including potential overseas opportunities.
