This post is funded until 31st March 2027 through the National Lottery Community Fund, with plans to seek further funding to continue the service beyond this date. Closing Date: until such time that a suitable candidate is found.
We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a community, health, care or voluntary sector setting who can build trusting relationships and deliver tailored support to individuals.
You will work alongside visually impaired people to understand their needs, strengths and aspirations, supporting them to achieve their goals, maintain independence and stay connected within their community. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds are essential. Experience with assistive technology or digital inclusion is welcome but not essential.
