MySightYork is seeking a Finance lead to join our Board of Trustees. This voluntary role is key to supporting effective financial oversight as we continue to expand our work with people living with sight loss.
Responsibilities
- The Finance Lead will work with staff and our accountants to ensure accurate financial records.
- Produce clear reports for the Executive Committee.
- Support budgeting and cashflow management.
- Oversee the preparation of year-end accounts.
Meetings take place every two months, with an estimated commitment of 4–6 hours per month.
Qualifications
- Experience in finance.
- A strategic mindset.
- Sound judgement.
- The ability to work collaboratively.
- An interest in income generation or fundraising is an advantage.
