About The Client:
We are working with a warm, friendly and caring primary school in the London Borough of Havering. The school are looking for an experienced Year 5 SEN TA to support a group of boys in a Year 5 class. As a Year 5 SEN TA, you would be responsible for supporting a group of pupils with high SEN. The successful Year 5 SEN TA will have bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging the children.
Key Responsibilities for the Year 5 SEN TA:
- Support groups of SEN pupils as a Year 5 SEN TA
- Thorough understanding of SEMH, ASD
- Provide 1:1 and group support as a Year 5 SEN TA
- Differentiate activities as required
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Year 5 SEN TA:
- Prior experience working as a Year 5 SEN TA
- Experience in supporting pupils SEN
- Confident in supporting pupils across the primary year groups
- Willingness to work part of a team
