About Us:

We are proud to be working with a vibrant, friendly and caring primary school in the London Borough of Havering. The school is looking for a Year 4 SEN TA to support a boy on a 1:1 basis. If you would like to work in an enriched and supportive environment as a Year 4 SEN TA, then this is the school for you!

As a Year 4 SEN TA, you will be required to support a child with communication and interaction needs as well as cognition and learning difficulties. The school strongly believes in preparing every child for their future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Year 4 SEN TA
  • Supporting a child on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a Primary School
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Understanding of varying types of SEN
