About The Client:
We are working with a friendly and thriving primary school in Gidea Park, in the London Borough of Havering. The school are looking for an experienced Year 3 SEN TA to support a child on a 1:1 basis. As a Year 3 SEN TA, you would be supporting a child with autism. The child can be loud, is quite set in his ways but very intelligent. The successful Year 3 SEN TA will have bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging the child.
Key Responsibilities for the Year 3 SEN TA:
- Support a SEN pupil as a Year 3 SEN TA
- Thorough understanding of ASD
- Provide 1:1 support for a child
- Differentiate activities as required
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Year 3 SEN TA:
- Prior experience working as a Year 3 SEN TA
- Experience in supporting pupils with ASD
- Confident in supporting pupils across the primary year groups
- Willingness to work part of a team
