We’re recruiting a Tutor to deliver English and Maths (GCSE & Functional Skills) within a specialist SEMH setting that uses sport and physical activity as part of its wider approach to engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people who may be more hands-on, active and practical in how they learn — while still keeping learning outcomes and qualifications the priority.

- Small groups of learners
- Strong emphasis on routine, structure and positive relationships
The role:
- Deliver English and Maths (GCSE and Functional Skills)
- Work with small groups of learners
- Keep sessions structured, focused and accessible
- Adapt delivery to suit different learning styles
- Support pupils to build confidence and re-engage with learning
Timings:
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00am – 12:00pm
- Part-time initially, with potential for more hours as the term progresses based on performance and fit
