SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Lewisham Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Employment Type: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, based on experience About Us: We are working with a primary school in Lewisham that focuses on providing a safe and nourishing environment for all children. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start. The successful individual will be responsible for supporting an ASD pupil in Year 6 in the mornings and Reception pupils in the afternoons. Their needs include ASD and non-verbal. Key Responsibilities: * Support the classroom teacher in supporting SEN pupils. * Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities. * Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. * Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
