About Us:
We are proud to be working with a successful, vibrant school in Romford, in the London Borough of Havering. The school is looking for a Year 2 SEN TA to support a selective mute pupil on a 1:1 basis. If you would like to work in an enriched and supportive environment as a Year 2 SEN TA, then this is the school for you! As a Year 2 SEN TA, you will be required to support a pupil with love, nurture and empathy. The school strongly believes in preparing every child for their future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Year 2 SEN TA
- Supporting a pupil inside and outside of the classroom as a Year 2 SEN TA
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a Primary School
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Experience working as a Year 2 SEN TA
