The school is looking for a Reception SEND TA to support pupils with high SEN.

As a Reception SEND TA, you would be responsible for supporting pupils within groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Their needs are predominantly ASD and Speech and Language delay.
The start date for this Reception SEND TA role is ASAP.
Key Responsibilities for the Reception SEND TA
- Work as a Reception SEND TA
- Supporting pupils with high needs as a Reception SEND TA
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Reception SEND TA
- Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a Primary School
- Confident in using visual aids and/or Makaton
- Experience working with children with ASD/ SALT
- Experience working as a Reception SEND TA
