About Us:

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in the Nurture Group Provision in a Havering Primary School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you would be supporting 10 non-verbal, ASD pupils. The successful Learning Support Assistant will have bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging the children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with ASD
  • Thorough understanding of ASD
  • Provide 1:1 support for children with high needs
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working as a Learning Support Assistant
  • Experience in supporting pupils with high needs
  • Confident in supporting pupils with complex behaviour
  • Willingness to work part of a team
