This is not a mainstream classroom. You will be working with young people who have complex special educational needs, building trust, supporting learning and genuinely changing what is possible for them every single day.

Available for an immediate start or September 2026. Permanent contract from day one. Supporting pupils 1 to 1 and in small groups, Monday to Friday 08:45 to 15:45 with one evening per week until 17:15 for after school club. 34 hours per week term time only.

You will support individual learning plans, monitor progress and work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and specialist staff. The school holds an Ofsted Outstanding rating and provides full training and CPD throughout.

You Will Need

  • A genuine belief in the potential of every pupil and a passion for making a real difference.
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable people is preferred.
  • Any SEN qualifications or accredited learning such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning would be a bonus but are not essential.
