Vision Teaching is working in partnership with a specialist secondary provision in Surrey to recruit a dedicated and resilient Maths and English SEMH Teacher. This provision has a strong focus on sport and physical activity as a way to engage and motivate students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, using alternative approaches to re-engage learners with education.
The successful Maths and English SEMH Teacher will deliver Maths and English to secondary-aged pupils in small group settings. As a Maths and English SEMH Teacher, you will tailor lessons to meet individual needs while building positive relationships that support emotional regulation, confidence, and academic progress.
This role is ideal for a Maths and English SEMH Teacher who values creativity and understands how sport can be used as a powerful engagement tool for students with SEMH needs. Pupils attend on a reduced timetable, allowing the Maths and English SEMH Teacher to focus on high-quality teaching, restorative practice, and consistent routines within a supportive team environment.
