Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a genuine difference to young people’s education and development? We are currently working with an Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary SEN school that is looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to join their team as soon as possible. The school operates as an Alternative Resource Provision, supporting students with a range of additional needs and providing a highly personalised approach to learning.
The Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students who may require additional support to access their education and reach their individual potential. You will help deliver engaging, tailored learning activities while building positive relationships and encouraging students to develop their confidence, independence and academic skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a specialist environment and wants to have a direct impact on the lives of young people.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to create engaging and accessible learning experiences
- Experience within a secondary school, SEN setting or alternative provision is desirable
