We are a teaching agency working with a two-form entry primary school in Bromley-by-Bow in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets who are looking for an experienced Reception SEND TA.
About The Client:
We are proud to be working with a two-form entry school with a focus on achieving strong academic outcomes in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The school is looking for a Reception SEND TA to support pupils with high SEN.
As a Reception SEND TA, you would be responsible for supporting pupils within groups and on a 1:1 basis. Their needs are predominantly ASD and Speech and Language delay. The start date for this role is ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Reception SEND TA supporting pupils with high needs
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a Primary School
- Confident in using visual aids and/or Makaton
- Experience working with children with ASD/SALT
- Experience working as a Reception SEND TA
