About The Client:

We are working with a thriving and successful primary school in Ilford, in the London Borough of Redbridge. Every child at the school is inspired, supported and is prepared to excel in all aspects of life. They are looking for a full-time Year 5 teacher for an ASAP start. As a Year 5 teacher, you would be responsible for marking and planning. The school can offer a welcoming and enthusiastic environment with a talented and dedicated staff team. Key Responsibilities for the Year 5 teacher:

  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 5 Teacher
  • Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
  • Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.
  • Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school as a Year 5 Teacher.

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Year 5 teacher:

  • QTS
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Good understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Prior experience teaching as a Year 5 teacher
  • UK classroom-based experience
