An FE College is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher or Trainee Teacher in Manufacturing & Engineering to join their Engineering, Fabrication and Welding team.

The Role
You’ll deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of Manufacturing and Engineering programmes, primarily at Levels 1, 2 and 3. Working with both full‑time learners and employed students, you’ll help students develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need to succeed in industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching and assessing learners across Manufacturing & Engineering programmes.
- Developing innovative learning resources and schemes of work.
- Supporting learners as a personal tutor.
- Monitoring learner progress and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement.
- Creating an inclusive, supportive and inspiring learning environment.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a Level 3 qualification or above in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Has recent and relevant industry experience.
- Is passionate about developing others and sharing knowledge.
- Has excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Can motivate learners from a variety of backgrounds.
- Holds a teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or is willing to work towards one.
