We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Sessional English Teachers to support our Further Education College in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking flexible day-to-day supply work or short-term teaching roles within a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role

Due to increased demand, we are building a pool of reliable English teachers who can provide cover and short-term teaching support across a variety of provision, including GCSE English and Functional Skills. Opportunities are available on a sessional basis, including adhoc cover, short-term assignments, and temporary roles.

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons
  • Support learners to build confidence and achieve their qualifications

About You

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Passionate about English and education
  • Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt quickly
  • Confident communicators with strong classroom management skills
  • Committed to helping learners reach their potential
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
  • A degree or relevant qualification in English or a related subject
  • Experience teaching English in an FE or secondary setting
  • Experience delivering GCSE resits and/or Functional Skills English
  • QTLS or working towards it
  • Experience working with post-16 learners
