We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and qualified English and Maths Teachers/Lecturers to provide temporary cover across a large Further Education College group with campuses in Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Due to high demand and the need for regular sickness, absence and timetable cover, we are looking to build a strong pool of skilled teaching professionals who can deliver engaging lessons to FE learners.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering English and/or Maths lessons to students across a variety of levels, helping learners develop their skills and achieve their qualifications.
The role may involve:
- Teaching Functional Skills and GCSE English and/or Maths
- Supporting learner progress and achievement
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Adapting to different campus locations and timetables
- Providing short-term, long-term or ad hoc cover as required
Applicants must hold a recognised teaching qualification, such as:
- PGCE
- Cert Ed
- QTS
- DTLLS
- Diploma in Education and Training (DET)
You should also have:
- Experience teaching English and/or Maths
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
