Come join the team as a Utility Surveyor in our growing business, along with exciting opportunities to work on some of the largest UK construction projects. With offices in the Midlands & South-East, we are continuously developing and expanding our team. Our Vision is to be the number one supplier of Engineering and Utility Services in the UK.
Predominately Night shifts: Monday - Friday 7pm - 7am. Occasional day shifts may be required.
Responsibilities- Overseeing utility survey projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing that high standards are upheld by employing advanced surveying techniques and tools such as total stations, GPS, and Ground Penetrating Radar.
- Performing comprehensive inspections and accurately documenting underground utility assets as well as manhole inspection reports.
- Providing finalized utility survey reports to Project Managers and CAD Operators, in compliance with Vision Survey and industry standards.
- Establishing and nurturing robust client relationships to ensure successful project execution, conducting quality assessments on onsite data and facilitating a smooth transition to final deliverables.
- Maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of all surveying equipment.
- Experience in utility surveying.
- A solid comprehension of industry standards and practices, with familiarity in PAS128 and TSA being crucial.
- Skilled in utilising surveying technologies such as ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic location systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for establishing relationships with clients and managing project teams.
- Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while effectively managing workload priorities.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites across the country as needed.
- Holder of a valid manual UK driving license.
- Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related discipline are preferred.
