This is a full-time on-site Theatre Practitioner role based in Glasgow. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of surgical theatres
- Supporting ophthalmic consultants during procedures
- Monitoring patient care throughout surgeries
- Ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols
- Maintaining sterilisation and safety measures
- Providing high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate manner
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in assisting with surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and post-operative care
- Strong organisational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Up-to-date qualification in nursing or operating department practice (ODP), with registration in relevant professional bodies
