About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Treasury, Risk & Project Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a key role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of critical financial processes. You will manage treasury operations, oversee financial risk, and lead finance transformation projects that enhance strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. As part of William Demant Invest, our goal is to elevate Finance capability to a level comparable with a listed entity. The business is growing rapidly and undergoing a significant systems transformation to replace legacy platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cash flow management and forecasting to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with treasury policies.
- Monitor and report on cash positions, investments, and debt facilities.
- Support FX risk management and develop a credible 12-month rolling cash-flow forecast.
- Implement an integrated cash-flow forecasting system aligned with financial and non-financial data.
- Provide updates to Group on dividend expectations and cash-flow deviations.
- Support Finance Directors in introducing an overarching risk management process.
- Identify, assess, and monitor financial and operational risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies with key stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Perform biannual risk assessments.
- Drive transition from UK GAAP to IFRS (2025-2026).
- Collaborate on Salesforce integration into financial systems (2025-2027).
- Support implementation of a new ERP system (2027-2028).
- Assist with potential acquisitions, including financial modelling and due diligence.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support global business decisions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- ACA/CA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years experience in financial planning, business partnering, or commercial finance.
- Strong knowledge of cash-flow forecasting, treasury, and change management.
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivots, lookups, index/match) and financial modelling expertise.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex datasets and deliver insightful reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- International exposure and/or experience with companies with multiple entities.
