The company is the inventor of, and a market leader in, Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT). This technology uses advanced 3D cameras to track surface data, providing enhanced guidance across every step of the radiotherapy workflow.
About the role
The Systems Administrator / Developer will manage (including small change), support, and provide guidance regarding our Salesforce environment to support operational excellence across Vision RT. This hybrid role combines strong Salesforce administration with the ability to deliver lightweight Apex development. You will work closely with commercial, operational, support, and technical teams to ensure Salesforce remains secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily Salesforce administration including user setup, profiles, permission sets, and security controls.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity through audits, validation rules, and deduplication activities.
- Configure reports, dashboards, page layouts, record types, and Lightning pages to support business needs.
- Build and optimise automation using Salesforce Flows, Workflow Rules, and other declarative tools.
- Provide responsive user support, troubleshooting, platform guidance, and training.
- Deliver lightweight Apex development, including basic triggers, classes, and test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, architects, and business teams to ensure changes follow governance and best practices.
- Maintain Salesforce org health through Health Check reviews, error and CPU monitoring, storage and licence management, metadata clean up, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
- Support sandbox management, configuration tracking, and deployment activities through structured release processes.
- Manage Salesforce seasonal releases (Spring, Summer, Winter) including sandbox preview testing, impact assessment, critical update management, validation, and user communication.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions across configuration and development, including unit test support.
- Document system configuration, workflow logic, and custom components for long term maintainability.
- Support integrations with third party applications via APIs or middleware.
- Monitor platform performance, storage, licensing usage, and configuration compliance.
- Contribute to the Salesforce roadmap, continuous improvement initiatives, and scalability planning.
- Work proactively with strong organisation skills and attention to detail to ensure high quality outcomes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or hybrid System Administrator / Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce core features across Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Hands on experience with Flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and the Salesforce security model.
- Ability to write and maintain simple Apex triggers, classes, and test methods.
- Solid understanding of role hierarchy, organisation wide defaults (OWDs), permission sets, and platform security principles.
- Experience supporting end users, resolving issues, and providing platform guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a structured, detail oriented approach.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with DevOps or release management tools (e.g., DevOps Center, Git based workflows).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on Salesforce administration experience across multiple clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud).
- Demonstrable experience with Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud.
- Other Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer, Sales Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant, Sales Certified Service Cloud Consultant or Sales Certified Field Service Consultant.
