About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our transformation team, supporting the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions — including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service — alongside Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capability with hands-on experience in Agile environments, working closely with both internal stakeholders and third-party implementation partners. This role plays a key part in defining business processes, capturing and validating requirements, and ensuring solutions are scalable, user-focused, and aligned to enterprise architecture and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service) and BI/reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, pain points, and process inefficiencies.
- Translate business needs into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Develop process models (BPMN), sequence diagrams, and supporting documentation for functional and integration designs.
- Ensure traceability between business objectives, requirements, and delivered solutions.
- Partner with third-party system integrators to validate technical designs and ensure alignment with business expectations.
- Define and document non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, usability, availability, security).
- Support BI/reporting initiatives by defining key performance indicators (KPIs), data requirements, and visualisation needs.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives within an Agile Scrum or Kanban setup.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and end-user training.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Salesforce implementation projects (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Revenue Cloud).
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within cross-functional delivery teams.
- Demonstrable experience collaborating with third-party implementors or system integrators.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, with experience producing user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Understanding of data and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Salesforce Analytics).
- Experience in process modelling (BPMN) and sequence diagramming.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Services or Revenue Cloud.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of non-functional requirements analysis (performance, resilience, maintainability).
- Familiarity with integration patterns between Salesforce, data platforms, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, or Consultant) are an advantage.
- Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
