We are recruiting a Stores Team Leader to join our Stores & Despatch department in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.

This is a hands on operational role reporting to the Stores Supervisor and would suit someone who enjoys leading from the front while ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance, and safety.

You will coordinate the day to day activities of the Stores team, support production and Operational plans while ensuring materials and finished goods are received, stored, prepared, and issued accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Stores team to meet operational and production priorities.
  • Coordinate finished goods packing in accordance with approved procedures and in line with required plan
  • Coordinate picking and packing of stock for transfer to external warehouses against agreed plans.
  • Ensuring all materials are received, checked, labelled, and system recorded correctly.
  • Prepare and issue production kits in line with the weekly production plan.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages, excess, or discrepancies to the Stores Supervisor
  • Maintain high housekeeping and safe working standards within Stores areas.
  • Communicate effectively with Production, Operations, Quality, and Purchasing teams.
  • Support in the training of New and existing Team Members
  • Escalate issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Stores Supervisor

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Stores, Warehouse, or Despatch environment
  • Previous leadership or team leading experience, or ready to step up into a leadership role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role and leading by example
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using Sage 200 and Microsoft Office

Desirable skills & experience

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing
  • Forklift truck licence
