About the Role: The Returns department plays a vital role in supporting the repair, testing, and quality assurance of medical equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing faults
  • Processing customer returns
  • Participating in structured problem-solving workshops
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop testing procedures for new components
  • Contributing to training initiatives

Proficiency in systems like Sage and CRM tools is essential, along with a flexible, methodical approach to work. Candidates should have a strong background in electronics, fault finding, and IT literacy, with additional skills in soldering and experience with medical devices considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Recording and processing of customer returned product
  • Taking part in out of box failure workshops (A3 Problem solving)
  • Fault diagnosis and reporting
  • Repairing medical equipment where practical and economical
  • Testing medical equipment to prescribed processes
  • Working with engineering to create tests processes for new parts
  • Participating in training of others, where appropriate
  • Sage system transactions
  • CRM completion
  • Flexible approach to work carrying out reasonable requests where required

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Electrical testing & fault finding
  • Technical background in electronics industry
  • Methodical approach to work
  • IT literate with Microsoft packages
  • History of working with manufacturing systems i.e. Sage or SAP
  • Able to demonstrate good organisation skills
  • Good communicator

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Soldering skills to IPC J-STD-001
  • Working with Medical Devices
  • Electronics testing
