We are currently looking for passionate Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic team in preparing healthy and hearty meals for our customers. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work in our state-of-the-art kitchen, helping to maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and meal preparation. We are looking for staff who would like to learn and grow within the kitchen team.

Located within the picturesque Hainault Forest, our newly restored venue boasts a vibrant Café, Events space, farm, and other public areas. Our aim is to not only provide delicious, healthy meals but also to create a welcoming and vibrant community space.

Job role:
  • Prepare all menu components as requested to the required standards
  • Follow cleaning schedule for kitchen and related areas
  • Follow HACCP, COSHH and other H&S regulations as required
  • Operate all equipment safely and in line with instruction
  • Assist with any other task within scope of the role as required
  • Comprehensive training in food safety, allergies, and health & safety protocols.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Understanding of food preparation and processes
  • Ability to work as part of the team and on their own initiative
  • Ability to follow instruction and execute to the highest standards
  • Experience in kitchen environment beneficial
