Bassoon Teacher
We are looking to appoint a bassoon teacher to offer small group and individual lessons at our Music School based in Hainault. In addition to this, the role includes playing in the Music Service Woodwind recital quartet, performing weekly at different schools in the borough. Having the ability to teach other woodwind instruments in schools and deliver or support Whole Class Ensemble Teaching would be an advantage. The work would involve working on Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
Trumpet Teacher
We are looking to appoint a new trumpet specialist to our expanding brass department. The nature of the work would involve teaching individual and small group lessons both on the trumpet and other brass instruments. In addition to this, the role includes playing in the Music Service Brass recital quintet, performing weekly at different schools in the borough to promote the instruments of the brass family. Having the ability to deliver or support Whole Class Ensemble Teaching would be an advantage. The work would involve working on Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
Based at the John Savage Centre in Hainault, and delivering tuition in 48 Redbridge schools, you will find yourself immersed in a world of musical energy, surrounded by instruments, creativity, and passion for teaching children but also adults, toddlers, and even babies.
