Freelance Construction Site Manager

Day Rate: £280–£300 (DOE)
VR Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Site Manager on behalf of a well-respected main contractor for a new project in Aberdeen. The project is a £2.8m newbuild steel frame retail unit, and we are seeking a Site Manager with a strong background in managing similar commercial builds, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality on site.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-day management of site operations
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
- Ensuring the project is delivered on programme and within budget
- Maintaining health & safety standards and site compliance
- Liaising with the client, design team, and project stakeholders
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- CSCS
- Proven experience managing newbuild projects
