We are a Bedford based online distributor with a leading presence in our industry. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our successful team and help drive our business through data led decision making.
As our Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting data from various sources, transforming it into a digestible format and building intuitive reports that our teams can rely on. You will also design, build and maintain automated dashboards, write SQL queries and identify trends.
We invite applications from experienced Data Analysts with the following attributes:
- Strong SQL Skills: able to write complex, efficient queries and be comfortable manipulating large datasets.
- Data Wrangling Expertise: Proven experience dealing with bespoke, complex or messy data formats (and turning them into usable formats).
- Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to look beyond the numbers and understand the commercial impact and opportunities of your findings.
- Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Experience of Google BigQuery, Snowflake or Amazon Redshift or similar: highly advantageous.
- Experience building reports in modern BI & Visualisation tools: such as Looker Studio, PowerBI, Tableau or similar highly advantageous.
