About the Company: Our client is an established fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London.
Role Overview: The Technical Coordinator will support the delivery of residential and mixed-use developments by coordinating design information, managing consultants and ensuring projects comply with planning, building regulations and technical standards. The role acts as a key link between the design team, consultants, commercial team and site operations, ensuring that projects are technically compliant, buildable and delivered in line with programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP design information across projects.
- Liaise with architects, engineers and consultants to ensure designs are accurate and delivered on programme.
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with planning approvals and Building Regulations.
- Support the discharge of planning conditions and Building Control requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams and assist in resolving design queries during construction.
- Maintain technical documentation, drawing registers and design approvals.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working as a Technical Coordinator, Design Coordinator or similar within construction or residential development.
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the design process.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple consultants.
Package:
- Day rate: £300-£400 (dependent on experience)
