VPL are looking for a site-based Administrator/Document Controller to take ownership of project documentation across the full lifecycle of a new build housing development - from initial certification through to plot handover. You will be the person making sure paperwork is accurate, up to date, properly filed, and available to the right people at the right time, all while keeping things aligned with company process and contractual sign-off requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Logging incoming and outgoing plot certification on the Completion Tracker, and keeping tabs on progress for every plot
  • Issuing certification to building control and the warranty provider in line with programme deadlines
  • Keeping the Customer Care Tracker current with any issues reported by homeowners
  • Coordinating with subcontractors to book in appointments that resolve customer care issues
  • Calling customers to confirm appointment dates and times
  • Carrying out meter readings and recording key release details
  • Updating plot status on the Completion Tracker (landscaping, fencing, and similar external works)
  • Checking each plot is genuinely ready before completion videos are recorded

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-5 years in an administrative role within construction
  • Comfortable working with document management platforms such as Viewpoint (or similar)
  • Solid grasp of document control processes
