The Company is a well-established, high-end main contractor operating across London and the Home Counties, specialising in bespoke residential and commercial projects. They are currently delivering a programme of school new builds and extensions across West London and are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to support their site teams.
The Role involves working as an enthusiastic and site-savvy Logistics Supervisor, ideally in the earlier stages of your construction career, on a busy school construction programme across West London. This is a customer-facing role working alongside trades and site management, ensuring the smooth day-to-day logistics of live construction sites in an occupied or semi-occupied school environment. You'll be working on sites in Chiswick, St Dunstable and Pinner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day logistics across one or more school construction sites
- Coordinating deliveries, materials and plant movements on site
- Liaising with trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations
- Acting as a point of contact for school staff, visitors and the public in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensuring site access, segregation and safety is maintained at all times
- Supporting the site management team with daily operations
- Maintaining accurate site records and logs
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations throughout
- Attending site meetings and contributing to programme delivery
Requirements:
- SMSTS qualification (essential)
- First Aid at Work (essential)
- CSCS card
- Experience in a site-based construction role
- Customer-facing and confident dealing with school staff, parents and members of the public
- Comfortable working alongside and communicating with trades
- Based in or around West London
- Organised, reliable and able to hit the ground running
Desirable:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience on school, education or occupied site projects
- Experience in a logistics or site coordination role
